Official Website here were no other problems and they were a perfect fit. For 27 quid you can't complain. Well you can but I won't. I'm a size 11 in shoes and trainers, so thought a 12 would be the way forward, to accommodate thicker walking socks. But with only ordinary socks on, these boots are a little on the snug side. To be fair I have only had them a couple of weeks and I haven't really 'broken them in' so some stretching may occur. So, in summary - not sure if it is the boots or my feet that are the wrong size, either way the overall opinion is that theses boots are very good, well made , value for money, and, so far, waterproof.EDIT - Having had these for a couple on months now, and worn them regularly, I have to say the fit is really good now, they just needed to be 'broken in'. Also, I should mention that they offer really good ankle support which makes walking less of a strain and means I can go f Milan ue found previously with shoes from the Karrimor range is that the outer soles wear down quite quickly, but they have always been extremely comfortable and dry, even on long walks. My latest pair, look great, are very light and fit as expected. However the grips on the outer sole are pretty smooth and when in wet or muddy conditions, these shoes do not offer a firm footing. More crucially this shoe does not se best interest rates up buying a UK size 11. The assistant told me this was not unusual with Merrells. On the plus side, they are extremely comfortable, I did a 15k hike on the first wear and no sore feet. They would have got 5 stars but for the hassle of the sizing. I was very pleased with these shoes. I found them to be a great all-round basic trekking shoe - for hot/cold climates, for modest terrain from hill tracks to mean streets. Decently serrated sole for rough ground; exceptionally comfortable - supportive and nicely cushioned and a good price. Go for the slightly more expensive Gore-tex version if you're buying for wetter ground rambling in countries such as the UK. Brought these shoes after looking for some comfy all round shoes to take with me on a year travelling round New Zealand and Oz. I've had them about 3 months now and they are SOOOOO comfy still. They are my shoe of cho www.martiblair.com e fit & have a normal insole as I don't like the mermory foam onesI couldn't of picked a more comfortable pair of trainers they are brilliant These are top quality boots (as expected from anything with the Harley D logo!!), Sturdier than your average Converse etc, but fit and look great!! No problem. For an old guy like me this is about as hip as you can be without looking ridiculous. These are stylish, super comfortable and look great. ￡45 is about the limit I would spend on trainers and they are well worth it. I am a 9 and its a neat fit. I could have got away with a 10 easily though. Highly recommended to the middle aged everywhere who aren't .
this hindi er fast with delivery and very professional sellers, I expected a bit more from the product itself. The stickers are nicely made (I bought Blue and Grey), apart from the difficult part of having to cover them with the transparent protection. Not so easy to achieve being the same exact size and shape as the sticker itself.Suggestion for the manufacturer: place the transparent protection on the stickers before cutting them and save your and the customers time.
At school you have to label everything even the shoes these were great for his water bottle and fruit box as you can make the labels waterproof
The labels are easy to use and take no time at all to use. They stick in the shoes and stay in tI loved the colour palette available and chose the bright and breezy 'Caribbean Blue' (isn't that the title of an Enya album?) Size wise, I'm a size 9/EU 43 it's often difficult to find funky shoes; fit wise, being Italian made they do come up a little small but fitted me - I'd maybe suggest going up half a size if you're on the larger end of your particular shoe size.I've worn them a few times now and they're fairly comfortable, but there appears to be quite a hard patch under the balls of the feet. They also slightly 'squeak' whilst ambling along, which is a little disturbing, so I'll make a mental note not to wear them to take tea with the local vicar....*Update* - after not a great deal of wear (in my humble opinion) the lining on the back of heel has broken and thus exposing the rubber beneath. This causes issues twofold: mainly that it makes holes in your socks and secondly, aggravates blisters. Hmm.
After putting on these shoes for the first time I walked up Ben Nevis. I feel that I could possibly supra high tops ea but much softer round the rest of the foot. They are very small made length wise though. I am usually 6 1/2 -7 and ended up with the 8 1/2 ( had to send a pair of 7 1/2s back as they were too short). They do squeak a bit when walking in them but not enough to annoy me. Great value at the offer price I paid.
The first time I wore these they seemed ok a bit snug but ok after a long walk. They leak, it starts at the toe but really no better than trail trainers for keeping your feet dry. This is a shame as I don't like walking boots and needed a walking shoe for the winter that would keep my feet dry. So I feel a bit of a nun necessary purchase. I will keep looking for a pair that really are waterproof.
Really nice good quality shoes. I have 2 other pairs of Columbia shoes and normally take UK6 in them but this type are snug even for Columbia and so a 6.5 might have been better (I take 5.5 in most shoes). Also I think the actual colour is a darker grey than www.martiblair.com ne
Shoe has started to squeak very annoying , only have them s couple of weeks
slightly big on my smaller foot, but ok with thicker sock.!
Fantastic support. Wish I'd bought them years ago!!!
At last a pair of shoes that fit perfectly. So comfortable. The half size makes a world of difference.
Got these as a present for my wife. She is UK size 7 and says these are a lovely fit with mid weight walking socks. She can cover a decent afternoons walk in these, 3-4 miles each way to local garden centre and finds them very comfy she says.Build quality seems good on these and they have a nice grip on the sole. There is a paved area which tends to gather moss/leaves on the route and she felt confident walking there and didn't feel likely to slip.Obviously subjective but they are apparently a lovely cheery purple colour ;-)
I chose this rating as these walking shoes were exactly as described. Lightweight but well built for shorter walks. They look more like trainers than walking shoes whic.
kitesurf boards would recommend them
Love these pumps I brought them to go with my fancy dress costume & blinged them up
Diddnt expect much from the price, but I love them, wear them all the time.
Fantastic quality for the price I wear them more then my converse.
Perfect comfortable holiday shoe, just like having a pair of slippers on your feet. (without the fleecy lining) ha ha.
I ordered these for my best friend as he loves his Vans.He wears them prettof shoes for my daughter but the shoes were quite big. So I started wearing them and it is really comfortable. I have to stand and walk quite a lot and thus have pain on my heel. This shoes reduced that pain significantly. Also these shoes are so light that you don't feel you are wearing shoes. I also paid only less than 4 pounds in Amazon. I wanted to buy another pair for my mum who has diabetes, and I cannot find the same price any more. What a shame! But I would recommend these shoes to everyone! So comfortable that once my daughter wore them when her feet grew bigger, she wanted to wear only this pair of shoes.
The shoes are amazingly comfortable. Could wear all day. Stylish lookingPerfect for me :) I would certainly recommend this shoe
Thanks very much to all the previous reviewers who said this shoe comes up quite large. I followed their suggestion and ordered a size 1.5 UK (I am normally 2.5 Louise Vuitton re?)
Got these in the sales for work. They're hush puppies which should speak volumes! They're comfortable from the moment you out them on. The best way to descrive it is that they feel like a pair of shoes you have been wearing for a few months but they smell better! They always last for me but I work in an office environment so they don't take much of a beating.
Bare in mind the only reason I got the shoes was due to the black Friday lightning sale. Arrived quickly (as usual with Amazon) and nice shoes for the price. Now I don't feel like such a slob at work anymore (as usually wear the life out of my shoes).
They are made in china, very light, have an elegant look, but I would not buy them again: Clarks shoes look a lot mor www.martiblair.com y a turban.
Useful with plenty of info. Not so keen on the pages devoted to fashionistas I have never heard of. Liked the illustrations, but expected to see photos of the trends, items etc discussed. Was rather hyped up by fashion writers in the Daily Mail, in my opinion.
These shoes are just great I've got 3 pairs now altogether in different colours their the most comfy shoes ever. I've just got my mum to get a pair even she agrees. Their not very water proof but as I'm a career and on my feet all the time I needed a pair of shoes that was as comfy as these were well done.. Not too sure how long the sole will last will have to see, don't think they will last long with working long hours but we'll but well done sketchers for making yet another comfy pair of footwear. I nearly always wear sketchers as my footwear for the comfort
Please I am trying to buy a size 5 but it keeps coming up as 10k what is a size 5 in uk?
